Big Week – Massive Progress

It’s been a big week for Eigg Box. Monday saw my first day on the Starter for Six Programme which, as well as providing access to top notch creative entrepreneurs training, coaching & mentoring, offers the chance to pitch for up to £10,000. Great bunch of fellow participants with some amazing ideas and huge energy and enthusiasm for what they do. Amazing opportunity to share and be a part of other peoples’ dreams.

EIGG BOX FIRST RESIDENCY

Then to cap the excitement, Eigg Box is announced as one of the five hosts for Sync’s Geek-in-Residence Programme.

GIR pairs up creative technologists with forward-looking organisations like Eigg Box, Scottish Opera, Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Stills Gallery and the McRobert to make new, valuable and stretching projects. It’s all about collaboration & experimentation.

For Eigg Box it’s an incredible chance to use digital technology to share what Eigg Box is and will be. To inspire, engage, involve and explore ideas.

So if you’re a digital developer or designer who wants to get involved with something really different right at the start; to explore your ideas, experiment, build a protoype, and you love the idea of making the Isle of Eigg the centre of the creative world (hey, who said we weren’t ambitious!) then apply here.

There’s £6,000 on the table for you, plus help and support from the Sync team….. who Eigg Box thanks, hugely, for the opportunity!
